This is not your regular drying black soap!!!
I first brought this product through a vendor in an effort to support small business. I figured black soap and Shea Butter (which I also brought) would be safe. FYI: The Shea Butter is fabulous, but back to the soap. Its sad to say, but the black soap set in my bathroom cabinet for months; that is, until my regular facial soap “magically disappeared” and I was pressed for time. I was surprised at how the soap felt as well as how it lathered when maneuvered through my hands. I was more surprised afterwards that my face did not feel tight or dried out like black soap tends to do. To be honest, I did not think this soap was doing anything especially different on my skin until my teenager daughter some weeks later commented that “my face looked brighter”. Now, from someone who suffers from both Melasma and Hyperpigmentation, hearing those words (especially from her teenaged daughter) was the ultimate win. My face is not completely clear however it is much more even toned than it previously was. I felt good to be complimented on my skin and I knew I had a winner when she asked me to order her some black soap. Thank You Wellness Matters Most!!!
